Anastasia Potapova delivered the most prominent result of the day at the WTA 500 in Washington, defeating Venus Williams 6-3, 6-3 in a measured Round of 32 performance. Taylor Fritz, the world No. 10, meets Kamil Majchrzak, while Lorenzo Musetti brings his variety and court craft into a hard-court test against Aleksandar Vukic.
