Gea beats Te 6-2 6-3 in Beijing qualifying

Arthur Gea beat Rigele Te 6-2 6-3 in the qualifying semifinals of the ATP 500 hard-court event in Beijing. The Frenchman struck eight aces to Te's four, with both men serving three double faults. Gea landed 63.6% of his first serves and won 85.7% of those points, along with 50.0% behind the second delivery. Te's first-serve rate was similar at 63.2%, but he won 61.1% of first-serve points and 52.4% of second-serve points.
