Davidovich Fokina beats Cerundolo 6-4 6-4 in Chengdu

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina of Spain defeated Argentina's Juan Manuel Cerundolo 6-4, 6-4 in the Round of 16 on the hard courts of the ATP event in Chengdu. The Spaniard landed 69.1 percent of his first serves and won 78.9 percent of those points, adding 64.7 percent behind his second delivery, with four aces and no double faults. He faced one break point and saved it. Cerundolo struck six aces, also without a double fault, putting 63.2 percent of first serves in and winning 72.2 percent of them and 57.1 percent of his second-serve points, saving two of the four break points he faced.
