Cerundolo beats Zhou 6-4 6-3 in Chengdu opening round

Juan Manuel Cerundolo defeated Yi Zhou 6-4, 6-3 in the Round of 32 of the ATP hard-court tournament in Chengdu. The Argentine's serve figures showed seven aces against one double fault, 65.6% of first serves in, 77.5% of first-serve points won and 57.1% won behind the second delivery; he faced three break points and saved all three. Zhou, of China, recorded five aces and no double faults, landed 60.9% of his first serves, won 69.2% of those points and 44.0% of second-serve points, saving three of the six break points he faced.
