Spain's Kaitlin Quevedo defeated Leme Da Silva N. V. 6-2 6-1 in the Round of 16 on the hard courts of the WTA event in Sao Paulo. Quevedo landed 58.3% of her first serves, winning 62.9% of those points and 52.0% behind the second delivery, with one ace against three double faults; she faced five break points and saved three, 60%.
