Hurkacz beats Shevchenko 6-3, 7-6 in Chengdu

Hubert Hurkacz of Poland defeated Kazakhstan's Alexandr Shevchenko 6-3, 7-6 in the Round of 32 at the ATP hard-court event in Chengdu. The Pole struck 15 aces against a single double fault, landed 69.4% of his first serves and won 81.4% of those points, adding 68.4% behind the second delivery, and he faced no break points in the match. Shevchenko served 12 aces with two double faults and put 72.7% of first serves in, winning 83.3% of first-serve points, while taking 27.8% of second-serve points and saving two of the four break points he faced.
