Lamens downs Sierra 6-3 6-2 in Sao Paulo last 16
Suzan Lamens of the Netherlands defeated Argentina's Solana Sierra 6-3 6-2 in the Round of 16 at the WTA hard-court event in Sao Paulo. The Dutch player landed 62.5 percent of her first serves and won 74.3 percent of those points, against 33.3 percent behind her second delivery, with no aces and six double faults. She faced six break points and saved four, a rate of 66.7 percent. Sierra put 67.9 percent of first serves in but won half of those points, adding 44.4 percent on second serve, two aces and five double faults, and saved six of the 11 break points she faced.
