Leyre Romero Gormaz came through against Polona Hercog 6-7 6-1 7-6, Oksana Selekhmeteva beat Federica Urgesi 7-5 0-6 7-5, and Mia Ristic recovered to defeat Arantxa Rus 4-6 6-0 6-3. Noemi Basiletti was a two-set winner over Laura Samson, 6-3 6-4. The Tolentino schedule continues with Jennifer Ruggeri (ranking unavailable) against Julia Grabher (#111).
At the San Diego 2 Challenger, Tuesday's recorded Round of 32 results include Patrick Maloney over Braden Shick 6-3 7-6, Dylan Dietrich over Dinko Dinev 6-3 6-1 and Keegan Smith past Edward Winter 6-3 4-6 6-2.
