Jiri Lehecka was the headline winner among the recorded Davis Cup World Group qualifying singles, taking out Ben Shelton 6-4 6-4. In the same round, Zizou Bergs recovered from a set down to beat Lukas Neumayer 2-6 6-4 6-2.
World Group I produced the day's other completed singles among those reported. Grigor Dimitrov was the only winner there to need three sets, coming through 6-7 6-3 6-4 against Elmer Moller. Casper Ruud beat Rigele Te 6-1 7-6, Otto Virtanen defeated Lucas Catarina 6-0 6-3, Tallon Griekspoor got past Nicolas Mejia 6-2 6-4 and Fabian Marozsan saw off Louis Van Herck 6-4 6-4. In World Group II, Roberto Cid beat Elsayed A. 6-3 6-2 and Filip Jeff Planinsek defeated Orel Kimhi 7-6 6-1.
At the Challenger level, Jeline Vandromme came through the longest of the reported quarterfinals, beating Francisca Jorge 6-3 6-7 7-5 in Caldas da Rainha, where Gabriela Andrea Knutson also went the distance against Malaika Rapolu (6-2 1-6 6-4) and Mia Pohankova beat Kylie Collins 7-6 6-4. In Valencia, Alicia Herrero Linana (6-2 6-1 over Irene Burillo Escorihuela), Yasmine Kabbaj (6-1 7-5 over Despina Papamichail) and Clara Burel (6-2 6-4 over Maristany G.) advanced, while Samira De Stefano beat Alice Tubello 4-6 7-6 6-4 in Ljubljana and Kaitlin Quevedo defeated Teodora Kostovic 6-3 6-4 in Sao Paulo.
The men's Challenger quarterfinals brought wins for Nikolas Sanchez Izquierdo, Luka Mikrut, Marco Trungelliti and Thiago Monteiro in Szczecin, Tristan Schoolkate and Harold Mayot in Rennes, and Alejandro Moro Canas and Jay Clarke in Biella.
