Several Round of 32 matches were recorded at WTA Sao Paulo. Anna Blinkova beat Carol Young Suh Lee 6-1 6-3 and Kaitlin Quevedo defeated Anastasia Tikhonova 6-0 6-2, the two most one-sided scorelines among the results supplied. Dominika Salkova got past Jessica Bouzas Maneiro 7-5 6-1 and Mary Stoiana beat Claire Liu 6-3 7-5.

The Ljubljana Round of 16 produced two comebacks: Laura Samson beat Weronika Falkowska 6-7 6-0 6-3 and Ekaterine Gorgodze beat Lucie Havlickova 7-6 1-6 6-3, with Alice Tubello (6-3 6-4 over Dalma Galfi) and Mia Ristic (6-3 6-3 over Miriam Bulgaru) advancing in straight sets. In Davis Cup World Group II, Fadi Bidan beat Taym Al Azmeh 6-2 6-3 and Benjamin Hassan beat Hazem Naw 3-6 6-0 6-4.
