Sasnovich beats Lepchenko 6-4 6-1 in Beijing qualifying
Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus defeated American Varvara Lepchenko 6-4 6-1 in the qualifying final at the WTA 1000 in Beijing, played on hard courts. Sasnovich landed 46.4% of her first serves, winning 76.9% of those points and 43.3% behind the second delivery, with five aces and five double faults. She faced eight break points and saved six, a rate of 75%. Lepchenko put 61.4% of her first serves in play, winning 51.2% of those points and 44.4% of second-serve points, with one ace and four double faults. She faced 12 break points and saved seven, 58.3%.
