Jacquemot beats Wolff 6-3 6-4 in Beijing qualifying final
Elsa Jacquemot of France defeated Vivian Wolff 6-3 6-4 in the qualifying final of the WTA 1000 event in Beijing on hard courts. Jacquemot struck six aces to one double fault, landed 61.5 percent of her first serves and won 81.2 percent of those points, along with 50 percent behind her second delivery. She faced two break points and saved one. Wolff hit no aces with one double fault, put 66.7 percent of first serves in play and won 61.1 percent of them, plus 44.4 percent of second-serve points, saving one of the five break points she faced.
