Molcan beats Trungelliti 6-4 7-5 in Beijing qualifying
Alex Molcan of Slovakia defeated Argentina's Marco Trungelliti 6-4 7-5 in the qualifying final of the ATP 500 in Beijing, played on hard courts. The Slovak landed 74.6 percent of his first serves and won 69.8 percent of those points, adding 66.7 percent behind his second delivery, with five aces and one double fault. He faced 11 break points and saved nine, a rate of 81.8 percent. Trungelliti put 48.5 percent of his first serves in play, winning 65.6 percent of those points and 41.2 percent on his second, with three aces, one double fault and three of seven break points saved.
