Carreno Busta beats Zhou 7-5 6-3 in Beijing qualifying

Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain defeated China's Yi Zhou 7-5, 6-3 in the qualifying semifinals of the ATP 500 hard-court event in Beijing. The Spaniard landed 60.3 percent of his first serves and won 75.0 percent of those points, along with 51.7 percent behind his second delivery, striking three aces against two double faults. He faced five break points and saved four, a rate of 80.0 percent. Zhou served six aces and six double faults, put 57.1 percent of first serves in play and won 69.4 percent of those points and 37.0 percent on his second, saving three of six break points.
