Lazaro Garcia beats Tian 1-6 6-4 6-4 in Beijing qualifying

Spain's Andrea Lazaro Garcia defeated China's Tian Jialin 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the qualifying semifinals of the WTA 1000 event in Beijing, on hard courts. Lazaro Garcia landed 75.9% of her first serves, winning 65.0% of those points and 52.6% behind her second delivery, with two double faults and no aces recorded. She faced nine break points and saved five, a rate of 55.6%. Tian put 71.6% of her first serves in play and won 60.3% of those points, along with 51.9% of her second-serve points, striking one ace against one double fault, and saved six of the ten break points she faced.
