Munar beats Giron 5-7 6-1 6-4 in Tokyo qualifying

Spain's Jaume Munar defeated American Marcos Giron 5-7 6-1 6-4 in the qualifying semifinals of the ATP 500 hard-court event in Tokyo. Munar's service record showed 10 aces and no double faults, with 63.0% of first serves landed, 74.1% of first-serve points won and 44.1% on the second delivery; he faced six break points and saved three. Giron struck five aces against two double faults, put 61.9% of first serves in play and won 68.3% of those points, along with 35.1% behind the second serve, saving eight of the 13 break points he faced (61.5%).
