Wolff beats Zhao 6-1 6-1 in Beijing qualifying

Vivian Wolff defeated Canada's Carol Zhao 6-1 6-1 in the qualifying semifinals of the WTA 1000 in Beijing, on hard courts. Wolff landed 64.4% of her first serves and won 75.9% of those points, while taking 62.5% behind her second delivery, with three aces against two double faults. She faced two break points and saved both. Zhao put 72.5% of her first serves in play but won 50% of those points and 26.3% of her second-serve points, with no aces and two double faults. Zhao faced 12 break points on her own serve and saved seven, a rate of 58.3%.
