Dart downs Lemaitre 6-2 6-3 in Beijing qualifying

Harriet Dart of Great Britain defeated Lemaitre T. 6-2 6-3 in the qualifying semifinals of the WTA 1000 event in Beijing, played on hard courts. The Briton landed 62.7 percent of her first serves and won 81.1 percent of those points, alongside 45.5 percent behind her second delivery, with two aces and four double faults. Dart faced four break points and saved three, a 75 percent rate. Lemaitre put 53.3 percent of first serves in, winning 62.5 percent of those points and 33.3 percent on her second, striking two aces against three double faults while saving two of six break points.
