Joint past Korneeva 6-2 1-0 in Seoul semifinals

Australia's Maya Joint was recorded as the winner over Russia's Alina Korneeva 6-2, 1-0 in the semifinals on hard courts at the WTA event in Seoul. Korneeva's serve figures showed one ace against five double faults, with 55.2% of her first serves in, 56.2% of those points won and 30.8% of her second-serve points won; she faced seven break points and saved four, a rate of 57.1%. Joint put 50% of her first serves in play, won 60% of both her first- and second-serve points, struck no aces with one double fault, and faced a single break point without saving it.
