Joint beats Tararudee 6-4 6-3 in Seoul quarterfinals

Australia's Maya Joint defeated Thailand's Lanlana Tararudee 6-4, 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the WTA hard-court event in Seoul. Joint landed 61.1 percent of her first serves and won 75.8 percent of those points, adding 57.1 percent behind her second delivery. She struck one ace against two double faults, and faced four break points, saving three of them. Tararudee put 54.3 percent of her first serves in play, winning 60.5 percent of those points and 40.6 percent on her second serve. The Thai recorded two aces and eight double faults, and saved six of the 10 break points she faced.
