Prozorova edges Wang Xin. in three sets in Singapore

Tatiana Prozorova of Russia beat China's Wang Xin. 3-6 7-5 6-4 in the quarterfinals of the WTA hard-court event in Singapore. The Russian landed 71.4 percent of her first serves and won 61.3 percent of those points, alongside 50 percent behind her second delivery, with two aces and four double faults. Wang put 69.2 percent of first serves in play and won 60.5 percent of those points, but took only 41.7 percent on her second serve, with one ace and five double faults. Across the match Prozorova faced 13 break points and saved eight, while Wang saved 10 of the 15 she faced.
