Basilashvili beats Van de Zandschulp in Chengdu last 16

Nikoloz Basilashvili of Georgia defeated Botic van de Zandschulp of the Netherlands 6-4, 7-5 in the round of 16 at the ATP hard-court event in Chengdu. The Georgian's serve figures stood out: he landed 66.7 percent of first serves and won 94.7 percent of those points, took 52.6 percent behind the second delivery, struck eight aces against two double faults and faced no break points. Van de Zandschulp put 63.8 percent of first serves in and won 77.3 percent of them, with 36.0 percent on second serve, seven aces, five double faults, and saved three of the five break points he faced.
