Shapovalov downs Kopriva 6-2 6-3 in Chengdu last 16

Denis Shapovalov of Canada defeated Czech Vit Kopriva 6-2, 6-3 in the Round of 16 at the ATP hard-court event in Chengdu. Shapovalov landed 58.1% of his first serves and won 92.0% of those points, adding 55.6% behind the second delivery, with four aces and five double faults. He faced one break point and did not save it. Kopriva put 55.3% of his first serves in play, winning 73.1% of those points and 42.9% on his second serve, striking no aces and no double faults while facing six break points and saving two, 33.3%.
