Hijikata beats Svrcina 7-6 6-4 in Hangzhou opener

Rinky Hijikata defeated Dalibor Svrcina 7-6, 6-4 in the Round of 32 at the ATP hard-court event in Hangzhou. Hijikata landed 55.1 percent of his first serves and won 68.4 percent of those points, adding 54.8 percent behind the second delivery. Svrcina put 58.1 percent of first serves in play, winning 57.4 percent of those points and 43.6 percent on the second.
