Jaime Faria of Portugal defeated France's Terence Atmane 3-6 7-6 6-4 in the Round of 32 on the hard courts of the ATP event in Hangzhou. The Portuguese struck 10 aces against three double faults, landing 58.3 percent of his first serves and winning 83.7 percent of those points, along with 65.7 percent behind his second delivery. He faced four break points and saved two. Atmane finished with nine aces and three double faults, put 62 percent of first serves in and won 80.6 percent of those points, plus 55.3 percent on second serve, saving five of the seven break points he faced.
