Gaston beats Shimabukuro 6-4 6-4 in Hangzhou

Hugo Gaston of France defeated Japan's Sho Shimabukuro 6-4, 6-4 in the round of 32 on the hard courts of the ATP event in Hangzhou. Gaston landed 51.6 percent of his first serves, winning 78.1 percent of those points and 53.3 percent behind his second delivery, with three aces and one double fault. He faced five break points and saved four, a rate of 80 percent. Shimabukuro put 71.7 percent of first serves in play and won 72.1 percent of those points, adding four aces against three double faults, while saving three of the six break points he faced.
