Shapovalov beats Griekspoor 6-4, 7-6 in Chengdu

Denis Shapovalov defeated Tallon Griekspoor 6-4, 7-6 in the Round of 32 on hard courts at the ATP event in Chengdu. The Canadian's serve produced 11 aces against four double faults, with 58.3% of his first serves in, 76.2% of first-serve points won and 56.7% behind the second delivery; he faced four break points and saved three, a 75% rate. Griekspoor, of the Netherlands, landed 71.4% of first serves, winning 82.5% of those points and 62.5% on his second serve, with six aces and one double fault. The Dutchman saved one of the three break points he faced.
