Sun edges Dellavedova in Hangzhou qualifying

Fajing Sun of China defeated Australia's Matthew Dellavedova 3-6 6-1 7-6 in the qualifying semifinals on hard courts at the ATP event in Hangzhou. Sun's serve numbers were the sharper of the two: he landed 67.5 percent of his first deliveries and won 84.6 percent of those points, adding 60 percent behind the second ball, with six aces and a single double fault. Dellavedova put 73 percent of first serves in and won 65.8 percent of them, plus 66.7 percent on second serve, striking five aces against one double fault. He faced nine break points and saved six; Sun faced two and saved none.
