Basilashvili beats Lu 6-2 6-0 in Chengdu qualifying

Nikoloz Basilashvili defeated Hao Lu 6-2, 6-0 in the qualifying semifinals of the ATP hard-court tournament in Chengdu. The Georgian faced no break points across the match. Basilashvili landed 63.6% of his first serves and won 85.7% of those points, adding 83.3% of his second-serve points, with four aces against one double fault. Lu put 61.7% of first serves in play but won 51.4% of those points and 34.8% behind the second delivery, finishing with no aces and three double faults. He faced 11 break points in total and saved six of them, a rate of 54.5%.
