Matsuoka downs Weber in Hangzhou qualifying

Hayato Matsuoka of Japan defeated France's Arthur Weber 6-4, 7-5 in the qualifying semifinals on the hard courts of the ATP event in Hangzhou. Matsuoka's serve aggregates show six aces against one double fault, with 69.2 percent of his first serves landing in, 88.9 percent of those first-serve points won and 68.8 percent behind the second delivery. He faced two break points and saved one. Weber recorded no aces and two double faults, landed 64.2 percent of first serves, won 67.3 percent of first-serve points and 41.4 percent of second-serve points, saving seven of the 10 break points he faced.
