Svrcina beats Sekulic 6-3 6-2 in Hangzhou qualifying

Dalibor Svrcina of the Czech Republic defeated Australia's Philip Sekulic 6-3, 6-2 in the qualifying semifinals on the hard courts of the ATP event in Hangzhou. Svrcina landed 54.5 percent of his first serves and won 75 percent of those points, along with 65 percent behind his second delivery, striking three aces against two double faults. He faced two break points and saved none of them. Sekulic put 63.2 percent of first serves in play but won 50 percent of those points and 38.1 percent on his second, with one ace and one double fault, facing 11 break points and saving six, 54.5 percent.
