Harris beats Miyoshi 6-3 7-5 in Chengdu qualifying

South Africa's Lloyd Harris defeated Kenta Miyoshi 6-3, 7-5 in the qualifying semifinals on the hard courts of the ATP event in Chengdu. Harris struck eight aces against a single double fault and landed 75.0 percent of his first serves, winning 71.1 percent of those points and 66.7 percent behind his second delivery. He faced two break points and saved both. Miyoshi managed two aces with one double fault, put 49.2 percent of his first serves in play and won 66.7 percent of those points, along with 51.6 percent on his second serve, saving none of the three break points he faced.
