Bar Biryukov beats Ilagan in two tiebreaks in Chengdu

Petr Bar Biryukov of Russia defeated American Andre Ilagan 7-6 7-6 in the qualifying semifinals at the ATP tournament in Chengdu, on hard courts. The Russian's serve produced 17 aces against seven double faults, with 58.4% of first serves landing in and 82.7% of those points won, plus 54.1% behind the second delivery. He faced five break points and saved all five. Ilagan recorded 12 aces and two double faults, landed 71.1% of first serves and won 79.6% of those points, along with 63.6% on second serve; he faced four break points and saved each of them.
