Rakhimova edges Kudermetova 7-6 4-6 7-5 in Seoul

Kamilla Rakhimova beat fellow Uzbek Polina Kudermetova 7-6 4-6 7-5 in the round of 32 at the WTA hard-court event in Seoul. Rakhimova landed 48.7 percent of her first serves, winning 65.5 percent of those points and 37.7 percent behind her second delivery, with two aces and 12 double faults. She faced 18 break points and saved 10, a rate of 55.6 percent. Kudermetova struck six aces against 20 double faults, put 49.5 percent of first serves in and won 70.4 percent of those points, but only 25.5 percent on her second serve, saving eight of the 16 break points she faced.
