Okamura beats Yamaguchi 6-1 6-1 in Singapore qualifying

Kyoka Okamura defeated fellow Japanese player Mei Yamaguchi 6-1, 6-1 in the qualifying final at WTA Singapore on hard courts. Okamura landed 58.8 percent of her first serves and won 85.0 percent of those points, plus 64.3 percent behind her second delivery, striking one ace against two double faults. She faced two break points and saved one. Yamaguchi put 61.9 percent of her first serves in but won 38.5 percent of those points and 37.5 percent on her second serve, with no aces and one double fault.
