Astakhova beats Shubladze 6-4 6-4 in Seoul qualifying

Darya Astakhova beat fellow Russian Alexandra Shubladze 6-4 6-4 in the qualifying final at WTA Seoul on hard courts. Astakhova landed 76.4% of her first serves, winning 52.7% of those points and 58.8% behind the second delivery, and she faced 13 break points, saving nine of them for a rate of 69.2%. She hit no aces and four double faults. Shubladze recorded no aces and no double faults, put 71.7% of first serves in play, won 47.4% of first-serve points and 40.0% of second-serve points, and saved one of the seven break points she faced, 14.3%.
