Saito beats Liang 7-6 6-1 in Seoul qualifying semifinals

Sara Saito of Japan defeated Chinese Taipei's En Shuo Liang 7-6 6-1 in the qualifying semifinals at WTA Seoul on hard courts. Saito landed 57.5 percent of her first serves and won 64.3 percent of those points, against 35.5 percent behind her second delivery, with no aces and three double faults. She faced 12 break points and saved nine, a rate of 75 percent. Liang served three aces and three double faults, put 63.8 percent of first serves in play and won 45.9 percent of those points, plus 57.1 percent on her second serve, saving five of the 10 break points she faced.
