Hibino beats Ng 6-0 6-1 in Singapore qualifying

Japan's Nao Hibino defeated Ng K. N. C. 6-0 6-1 in the qualifying semifinals on hard courts at WTA Singapore. Hibino landed 63.3 percent of her first serves and won 73.7 percent of those points, adding 63.6 percent behind the second delivery, with one ace and one double fault. She faced a single break point across the match and did not save it. Ng put 67.5 percent of her first serves in play but won 18.5 percent of those points and 38.5 percent on second serve, striking no aces against two double faults while facing 12 break points and saving five, 41.7 percent.
