Shubladze downs Jang 6-0 6-1 in Seoul qualifying

Alexandra Shubladze defeated Jang G. 6-0, 6-1 in the qualifying semifinals at WTA Seoul on hard courts. The Russian landed 74.4% of her first serves and won 78.1% of those points, while taking 54.5% of her second-serve points, with two double faults and no aces recorded.
