Salkova beat Bouzas Maneiro 7-5 6-1 in Sao Paulo

Dominika Salkova of the Czech Republic defeated Spain's Jessica Bouzas Maneiro 7-5, 6-1 in the Round of 32 at the WTA hard-court event in Sao Paulo. Salkova landed 55.1% of her first serves and won 71.1% of those points, along with 48.4% behind her second delivery, while hitting no aces and five double faults. She faced five break points and saved four, a rate of 80%. Bouzas Maneiro struck two aces against seven double faults, put 54.2% of first serves in and won 59.0% of first-serve points and 39.4% of second-serve points, saving seven of the 12 break points she faced (58.3%).
