Whitney Osuigwe was never troubled in the qualifying final in Sao Paulo, seeing off Anastasia Tikhonova 6-2 6-2 in a one-sided contest on hard courts. The American built the win on a reliable delivery, landing 78.8 percent of her first serves and winning 63.4 percent of those points, with four aces and a single double fault.
