Sabalenka serves past Rakhimova 6-3 6-4 in US Open third round
Aryna Sabalenka moved through the US Open Round of 32 with a controlled 6-3 6-4 win over Kamilla Rakhimova, never allowing the match to slip into a decider. The serve told the story: Sabalenka struck 10 aces against a single double fault, landed 65.1 percent of first serves and won 75.6 percent of those points, while backing it up with 72.7 percent behind her second delivery. Rakhimova, by contrast, managed just two aces, coughed up six double faults and won only 48.3 percent of her second-serve points. For Sabalenka, it was another straight-sets statement in New York.
