Sweeny fights back from a set down to beat Musetti in New York
Dane Sweeny dropped the opening set 3-6 and then took control, running through the next three 6-1, 6-3 in effect and closing out a 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-2 win over Lorenzo Musetti in the US Open second round. The Australian's serve was the steadier weapon: 69.6 percent of first serves in, 66.2 percent of those points won, and a remarkable 61.3 percent behind the second ball. Musetti, by contrast, won just 47.2 percent of his second-serve points and coughed up seven double faults against four aces conceded. It was a landmark result for Sweeny at a major.
