Tsitsipas recovers from a set down to beat Harris in four
Stefanos Tsitsipas dropped the opening set in a tie-break but recovered to beat Lloyd Harris 6-7 6-3 7-6 6-4 in the US Open round of 64. The Greek's serve carried him through the tight moments: he struck 15 aces to Harris's 13 and won 82.4 percent of his first-serve points, even though only 50.7 percent of those first serves landed. Harris, more reliable at 59.2 percent first serves in, was undone behind the second delivery, winning just 43.8 percent of those points against 56.1 for Tsitsipas, and he added four double faults to his opponent's three. Tsitsipas moved on with his run alive in New York.
