Buse beats Bonzi in three sets to reach Winston-Salem final
Ignacio Buse came through a three-set semifinal at Winston-Salem, taking the opening set 6-2, losing the second 4-6 and then racing away with the decider 6-1. The Peruvian's serve was the difference: he landed 72.3% of first deliveries, won 66.0% of those points and an outstanding 83.3% behind his second ball, striking seven aces without a single double fault. Benjamin Bonzi, by contrast, managed just 64.8% first serves and won only 32.3% of second-serve points, coughing up four double faults. That gap on the second delivery decided the match and carried Buse into the final.
