Cina rallies past Bu Yunchaokete to reach US Open main draw

Federico Cina came from a set down to beat Bu Yunchaokete 3-6 6-4 7-5 in the final round of US Open qualifying. After dropping the opener, the Italian leaned on a steadier delivery, landing 65.3% of first serves and winning 73.5% of those points, with 10 aces and only two double faults. Bu was marginally sharper behind his first ball at 75.9%, but he found it just 54.0% of the time and won only 45.7% of second-serve points, adding five double faults. That gap told in the closing stages of a decider settled at 7-5, and Cina earned his place in the main draw.
