Buse edges Cerundolo in three sets to reach Winston-Salem semis

Ignacio Buse came through a three-set quarterfinal at Winston-Salem, beating Juan Manuel Cerundolo 7-6 4-6 6-2 after losing the second set. The Peruvian's serve was the steadier of the two: he landed 63.5% of first deliveries and won 65.2% of those points, while Cerundolo found the box just 47.9% of the time and took 60.9% behind his first ball. Cerundolo struck seven aces to Buse's three, but the Argentine's 50% return on second serve, against 52.6% for Buse, left him exposed in the decider. Buse conceded only one double fault all match and moved into the semifinals.
