Johnson rallies past Taro Daniel in US Open qualifying

Andrew Johnson dropped the opening set 2-6 but turned the match around to beat Japan's Taro Daniel 2-6 6-2 6-4 in the US Open qualifying quarterfinals. Both men struck four aces and both won 45.5% of their second-serve points, so the margin came down to Johnson's steadier first-ball platform despite his five double faults.
