Maristany edges past Burrage in straight sets in US Open qualifying

Maristany came through a tight straight-setter against Britain's Jodie Burrage, 7-6 6-4, in the final round of US Open qualifying. The difference was consistency rather than firepower: Maristany landed 74.6% of her first serves and won 67.9% of those points, while Burrage found the court with only 57.6% of hers.
