Kecmanovic Beats Shimabukuro 6-4 6-3 in Winston-Salem

Miomir Kecmanovic needed only two sets to move past Sho Shimabukuro 6-4 6-3 in the Winston-Salem round of 64, controlling the match from the back of the court. The Serb landed just 43.6 percent of his first serves, but when he did find the box he was close to untouchable, winning 83.3 percent of those points, and he still took 51.6 percent behind the second ball despite six double faults. Shimabukuro's problem was the second serve, where he claimed only 33.3 percent, and 71.4 percent on first deliveries was not enough to cover it. Kecmanovic advanced with his serve intact.
